How to Sign Up for a New Service

To sign up a for a new service you will need to come by the Utility Customer Service Office located at 508 South Jefferson Street in Athens. Please bring two forms of identification, a rental agreement if renting, and your deposit. A signature is required to sign up for any service.

The Current deposit for a residence are: $65 for Electric Service, $10 for Water Service, $15 for Gas Service
Commercial Account Deposits are an average Commercial bill for the service.
